Workshops (PowerPoint)
Workshops focus on shoreline protection, current regulations and what can be done to improve the shoreline and water quality of our rivers/lakes. Mitigating measures proposed will reduce the risk of floods and prevent erosion, bringing forth solutions to absorb water from precipitation, stabilize banks, contribute to aquatic health, act as a filter against pollution, and among other issues, absorb the nutrients that nourish blue-green algae as well as increase plant and animal diversity.
